How to apply for admission online 2021

Step 1: Access to online Admission Form

1. Open any search engine (such as google or yahoo) and type Virtual University of Pakistan in the search box.
2. Click on Virtual University of Pakistan (VU) (www.vu.edu.pk). The home page of Virtual University of Pakistan will be displayed.
3. Click on the “Admissions” tab.
4. Click on “Apply Online” in the drop down list.
5. Sign Up window of online Admission Form will be displayed.

OR

1. Open any search engine (such as google or yahoo) and type Virtual University of Pakistan in the search box.
2. Click on Virtual University of Pakistan (VU) (www.vu.edu.pk). The home page of Virtual University of Pakistan will be displayed.
3. Click on the “Admissions” tab.
4. Click on “Apply Online” in the drop down list.
5. Sign Up window of online Admission Form will be displayed.

• Click on “Check Admission Eligibility” in the drop-down list.
• Select your higher qualification, enter maximum and obtained marks to check your admission eligibility
• The system will display list of programs in which student is eligible to apply. o Click on “Apply button”.
• Sign Up window of online Admission Form will be displayed.

Step 2: New Registration/Sign Up

1. Select one of the following options: -   a) Pakistani   b) Foreign National
2. Enter your Full Name 
3. Enter your CNIC / B-form number in the dialogue box
4. Enter your existing email address (In case, you do not have email address, you can create a new email address from the link given at the end of this interface namely “Create New Email Address”)
5. Enter your mobile number
6. Enter your Password in the Password dialogue box. (Password length must be minimum 8 and maximum 20 characters).
7. Press “Sign Up” button. 
8. You will receive an admission verification link on your registered email address.
9. You need to open your email account and click the said link
10. Now your account has been created/registered

 

Step 3 :Logging In: 

• Now you are ready to Login your account.
• Enter your account detail (CNIC/B-Form and Password) to Sign In window.

Step 4: Filling of the Admission Form

• Program Selection: 
• Personal Information: 
• Need Based Scholarship 
• Form Credit Transfer Form 
• Upload Documents 
•  Submit Application

Program Selection:

1. Status: Select appropriate status from the given options like “Within Pakistan” or “Overseas”.
2. Program
• Degree Program: Select level of the degree like “BS”, “Masters”, “MS” or “Ph.D.”
• Study Program: Select desired field of study like “Arts”, “Psychology”, “Zoology”, “Mathematics”, “Statistics”, “Management”.
3. Study At: Select Preferred City, Campus and Lab.
4. After filling the complete information of the portion, Press Save and Move Next.

Personal Information: 

1. Personal Information: Write your Name, Father’s Name and other particulars/information mentioned/required in the admission form. 
2. Educational Information: Select your qualification.
3. Employment Status: Select your employment status in “Yes” or “No”.
4. Others: Give your feedback that how did you know about Virtual University of Pakistan like “ Newspaper, Facebook/Social media, Internet search (google, yahoo etc. ), Friend/Family, Banner, Bill Board, Cable Network etc.
5. After filling the complete information of the portion, Press Save and Move Next.

Need Based Scholarship Form: 

1. If a candidate is interested to apply for Need Based Scholarship, he/she may select “Yes” and Need Based Scholarship Form will be displayed. The interested candidates may fill it appropriately. Rest of the candidates may skip this form by selecting “No”.
2.  After filling the complete information of the portion, Press Save and Move Next

Credit Transfer Form:

1. If a candidate is interested to apply for Credit Transfer/Course Exemption then he/she may select “Yes” and Credit Transfer Form will be displayed. The interested candidates may fill it appropriately. Rest of the candidates may skip this form by selecting “No”.
2.  After filling the complete information of the portion, Press Save and Move Next

Upload Documents:

1. The applicant will upload following documents in supported file format (jpg, jpeg) with maximum size of 1 MB each: 

        Photograph with Signature, CNIC/B.Form, Handwriting Sample, Relevant Academic Result                    Cards/Certificates/Degress. 

Submit Application:

• Choose one option: Have you purchased the Prospectus? Yes /No 

•  Applicants who have purchased Prospectus will select “YES” and such applicants will enter Prospectus number. Rest of the applicants may select “No” and system will generate Prospectus fee in the fee voucher and University will dispatch Prospectus to such applicants at later stage.

• Check the form thoroughly as a proof reading before undertaking that all the facts and figures mentioned in the form are correct to my best of knowledge then Click on the button “Submit Application”.
